God of Fortune

God of fortune or wealth is a popular figurine displayed in many places in Asia, especially during Chinese new year. That is because his presence confers fabulous lock and is considered a very auspicious symbol.

He is always seen carrying pile of gold ingots or treasure and bestow upon those who see him. People normally do not sweep the floor during New Year as they fear they might have sweep away the visiting god of fortune and thus , the fortune.

 

We also have a god of fortune gadget displayed in our office and the picture is shown above. It is operated with a mini solar panel attached at the side (with the black/red wire). When expose to sun light,the solar panel generate electric which powers up the coil and the god of fortune star moving from side to side.....
